Who we are

This policy covers two websites run by JeffCo Tech Co LLC, a Missouri company (“we”, “us”): jeffcotechco.com and shopjeffco.com (Shop JeffCo). Questions go to admin@jeffcotechco.com.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. The contact form on jeffcotechco.com and the “List your business” form on Shop JeffCo collect what you type: your name, business name, email, phone and message.
• 3D print orders. When you order on jeffcotechco.com we keep what you ordered, your name, email, phone and delivery address, and anything needed to make it: photos you upload, or the contents of a QR code you want printed as a sign (including a Wi-Fi password if the code holds one). Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Checkouts that aren’t finished are deleted after a week. The QR code generator itself runs in your browser and sends nothing unless you order a sign.
• Accounts. Business owners and staff who manage a Shop JeffCo page have an account with their name, email and a password (stored scrambled, never in plain text).
• Business listings. Shop JeffCo shows business details that the business gives us or that are already public: name, address, phone, hours, photos, products and prices. Photos are re-saved when uploaded, which strips the camera and location data phones attach to them.
• Visit counts. Shop JeffCo counts how many times store pages are viewed and how often buttons like “Get directions” are used, so owners can see how their page is doing. These are daily totals only. We don’t record who you are or keep your IP address for this.
• Server logs. Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, pages requested and browser type. We use them to keep the sites running and secure.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the sites need to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in on Shop JeffCo and protects forms on both sites from forgery. We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

Your location

Shop JeffCo’s “Near me” button asks your browser for your location to sort stores by distance. That happens on your device; your location isn’t sent to us.

Other services the sites use

• Maps. Shop JeffCo’s maps load map images from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address the way any website you load does.
• Fonts. Shop JeffCo loads its fonts from Bunny Fonts. jeffcotechco.com serves its own fonts.
• Address lookup. To place businesses on the map, we send business addresses (never visitors’ information) to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service.

How we use it

To reply to you, to provide quotes and the work you hire us for, to run Shop JeffCo and its owner accounts, and to keep the sites secure. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it except with the services listed above, when the law requires it, or with your permission.

How long we keep it

Messages and quote requests are kept as long as we need them to answer you and for normal business records. Account details are kept while the account is open. Server logs are rotated and deleted on a regular schedule.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing admin@jeffcotechco.com. Business owners can edit most of their Shop JeffCo page themselves, or ask us to take it down.

Children

These sites are for businesses and adult shoppers. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
